**Hematology/Oncology Locum Tenens**

Join our team in Coos Bay, Oregon, for a Hematology/Oncology opening. This position is ideal for those needing a license and offers a supportive environment in a free-standing cancer center.

**Job Description**

- Dates of coverage: ASAP need starting April - ongoing - minimum 2 weeks a month required
- Work week is Sunday to Saturday
- Schedule: 4 or 5 days per week, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with an admin day or half day if needed
- Call schedule: 7 days of call including one weekend, 1 in 4 rotation
- Call ratio: 1:4
- Functions as a member of the clinical patient care team performing tasks and procedures consistent with the training and licensure of a medical oncologist/hematologist
- EMR: EPIC
- Setting: Outpatient - free-standing cancer center
- Reason for coverage: Physician retirement/relocations
- Number of physicians in practice: 3 currently
- Trauma level: III
- Most benign hematology cases are referred out as we focus on getting new solid tumor diagnoses seen timely (within 1 week of referral). Demographics for this area are roughly 20% hematology, 80% oncology
