**Radiologic Technologist**

Find your calling at Mercy! This position involves interpreting orders for requested exams, producing CT and diagnostic medical images, positioning and transferring patients, and selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis. You will operate equipment as directed, provide protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards, and assist physicians in administering enhancing agents and medications. 

You will be responsible for delegated areas of authority in the performance of CT and special imaging techniques. Proficiency in operating and using equipment related to all exams performed, the computerized radiology information system, and office equipment is essential. You will assist within all areas of radiology as needed, function as a cooperative team member on weekend and evening shifts, and report personnel and procedural incidents to the Section Manager. Additionally, you will work in specialized areas as needed, recommend the procurement and necessity of maintenance of equipment, maintain current CPR certification, and assist in performing first aid as necessary. Staying current with credentialing agency's required continuing education is also a key responsibility.
