**Key Responsibilities**

- Be available 24/7 to provide phone consultations, triage stroke patients, and make timely decisions regarding intervention for patients requiring thrombectomies or other neuroendovascular procedures.
- Participate in weekend call shifts as needed.
- Manage a variable patient load during call shifts, performing both open and endovascular procedures in the interventional/cath lab.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the EPIC EMR system.
- Collaborate effectively with the on-site healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

**Requirements**

- Current board certification in Neurological Surgery is mandatory.
- Valid medical license in the state of Colorado to practice medicine without restrictions.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and DEA registration are required.
- Proven experience performing both thrombectomies and surgical clippings for stroke and other neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- The ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Comfort with both open and endovascular surgical procedures is preferred.
