**Job Description**

- This position is full time, 76 hours a pay period, working three 12-hour shifts each week and one 4-hour shift each pay period. Varying shifts that consist of days, evenings, nights, and every third weekend.
- Our department is fast-paced and different every day. We have the only free-standing Children's hospital in the state. Once you have seniority, there will be fewer weekends involved. Opportunity to do new things and challenge yourself.
- Our inpatient respiratory therapists will work in a variety of areas including Adult Critical Care, NICU, and PICU. They are responsible for vent/BiPAP management, medication delivery, bronchial hygiene, managing RT-driven protocols, and patient education.

**Job Summary**

The scope of work for a respiratory therapist includes assessment, therapeutic intervention, and education for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders and/or sleep disorders or associated complications. 

What you will do:

- Assess patients to prevent, detect, monitor, and manage disease and complications.
- Measure patients' lung capacity to determine if there are any impairments.
- Offer diagnosis results and treatment suggestions based on the analysis of the patient.
- Work in several clinical areas ranging from general floors to critical care.

**Requirements**
