**Job Description**

- Provide emergency medical care for a diverse patient population
- Work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Perform admissions, consults, and emergency stabilization procedures
- Collaborate with general surgery and specialty teams
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital standards
- Contribute to patient care in a high-volume setting

**Requirements**

- Active Virginia medical license and DEA (must be in hand)
- BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice with ER experience (must be certified within 7 years of residency)
- Active DEA Certification
- ATLS required (if not EM Boarded), ACLS required if not EM Boarded
- ER experience required
- Clean file submissions only; no moonlighting residents
