**Job Description**

- Perform and/or assist in diagnostic, screening, ultrasound, and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are met.
- Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality; clean, restock, and prepare examination rooms on a daily basis.
- Complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and/or patient charts.

**Requirements**

- Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technology in Applied Science or equivalent.
- NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) required within six months of employment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Prior Radiologic Technologist experience.
