- Has the ability to prioritize and triage delivery of care during times of high acuity. Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills and assures documentation is accurate, legible, and in accordance with hospital policy.
- Uses hospital information systems skillfully and complies with security policies. Follows proper handoff procedure for all patients to assure coordination of care. Processes all associated clinical equipment and devices to industry standards and performs routine and basic maintenance with associated documentation. Participates in patient transports in the hospital. Conforms to infection prevention measures.

**Requirements**

- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- RRT required
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- Current Georgia Respiratory Care Professional required
- 1 year or more of experience in Respiratory Care required
- 2 years or more of experience in Critical Care preferred
