- Arranging for preventive immunizations and detection and control of communicable diseases.
- Providing referrals for specialist and institutional care as needed.
- Consulting on medical and health-related matters, including staffing, medical separations, and budget management.
- Advising the facility director and health services staff on all medical and health-related matters.
- Overseeing ordering, safeguarding, and accounting of health equipment, supplies, and medications.
