Both locations have beautiful therapy spaces with opportunities to grow in outpatient services. The Waukon location recently had a large remodel to include a simulated apartment area, Solo Step system, and sensory room. Along with Therapy Supervisor support, there is a Clinical Specialist and Director available.

- Provides leadership and daily oversight to therapy staff. Will act as a point of contact and expert resource for questions and potential issues that may arise during shifts. Assists in implementing overall therapy policies, procedures, services, and programs. Assists in implementing overall post-acute, long-term care, and home health rehabilitation policies and procedures and treatment protocols consistent with the health care facility's vision, mission, and strategic plan. Maintains a high level of subject matter expertise and serves as the go-to source for complex questions and issues.

- Supports leadership and ensures efficient and effective operations in the rehabilitation services department.

- Provides day-to-day work guidance for a team or work group often in a shift and/or in the completion of tactical processes. - Follows care plans established by therapists and delivers specialized therapy programs that help clients/patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength. - Shifts: noon to noon 24 hr shifts, 12+ hours on 12 hours Call (on-site sleeping arrangements and meals)

**Requirements**

- BE/BC IM/Hospitalist
- Active, clean Wisconsin License
- Clean DEA & NPDB (no current suits or unresolved cases)
- Must commit to a minimum of one 4-7 day placement unless otherwise noted. (Can accept more than one provider to cover the 3+ weeks)
- Must be skilled at emergent intubations, vents, lines (must sign off that you are qualified & experienced)
- Must have ACLS certification
- Must have rigorous hospitalist experience and submit logs for previous 12 months showing at least a handful of the aforementioned emergent procedures
- Must arrive early for 4 hr orientation (weekend-evening prior; weekday-morning of)
- Must be committed to small town, rural/remote and underserved populations
