**Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician**

The Alexandria VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to serve as a member of its Primary Care Team in Jennings, LA. Founded as a railroad depot midway between the larger cities of Lafayette and Lake Charles, Jennings today offers plenty of reasons to stop and explore. **Job Description**

- Competitive starting salary $240,000-$250,000
- Work schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
- This position is telehealth eligible (virtual visits - video, remote care by telephone)
- Provide care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily in an outpatient setting
- Responsible for all facets of acute patient care
- Will assist in completing quality management reviews
- Responsible for the successful achievement of applicable performance measures and monitors his/her areas of responsibility
- Candidate will take an active part in the peer review process and complete Physician's reviews on time

**Requirements**

- Board certified/board eligible in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine
- Experience in primary care
- Must be a U.S. citizen. Non-citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. citizen is not found
- Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state
