**Job Description**

- Manage a diverse case load including total joints, ENT, general surgery, colonoscopy, EGD, ophthalmology, and podiatry.
- Perform nerve blocks such as spinal, popliteal, interscalene, genicular, and femoral.
- Comfortable practicing independently and performing nerve blocks.
- Handle a variety of cases in an ambulatory surgery center, avoiding complex hospital cases.
- Participate in monthly neuro-ortho surgeries with potential coverage.
- Conduct general surgeries including hernias, eyes, ears, sinus procedures, and colonoscopies; urology cases are not performed.
- Average patient volume varies; last year the facility managed 2,800 cases annually.

**Requirements**

- Active Alaska medical license.
- Credentialing is handled internally with quick committee assembly and primary source verification.
