**Job Description**

- Under the general supervision of the Imaging Supervisor, the incumbent must be able to perform nuclear medicine procedures, schedule procedures, initiate new procedures, transport patients, handle telephone calls for scheduling patients, and answer questions related to reports of exams.
- Must be able to handle patient support equipment, i.e., I.V. pumps, O2, etc.
- The incumbent helps clean rooms and equipment, orders supplies, assists physicians with invasive procedures, and administers basic CPR.
- The incumbent helps the supervisor in the daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine department.
- The technologist must be a graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology/nuclear medicine and/or be registered or registry eligible.
- Must possess knowledge and understanding of regulatory mandates for quality control. Incumbent must adhere to all DEQ regulations.
- The incumbent must be able to maintain a high standard of imaging.
