**Emergency Medicine Physician**

Join our team as an Emergency Medicine Physician in a dynamic hospital setting. This position offers a variety of shifts and the opportunity to work in a trauma-certified environment.

**Job Description**

- Work ongoing with a preferred schedule of Mon-Sat: 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 10 AM - 8 PM, 3 PM - 1 AM, 8 PM - 6 AM; Sun: 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 10 AM - 8 PM, 2 PM - 10 PM, 3 PM - 1 AM, 8 PM - 6 AM
- Provide care in an inpatient hospital setting with a trauma level designation
- Manage an annual patient volume of 53,691 in the hospital and 40,150 in the FSED
- Average daily census of 142.6 for the hospital and 102 for the FSED

**Requirements**

- Active TN License
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (BC, ABEM)
- ACLS and PALS certifications required with moderate sedation test
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner

**Additional Details**

- APC coverage hours at the main hospital: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 9 AM - 7 PM, 3 PM - 1 AM, 9 PM - 7 AM
- FSED APC coverage hours: 6 AM - 6 PM, 9 AM - 9 PM, 3 PM - 1 AM
- No trauma designation currently, but in process to achieve by 2026
- Locum coverage needed for open FTEs with a requirement of 40-50 shifts per month to stabilize the program
- Coverage needed long-term (6+ months) for all shift types
- Start date upon credentialing
