About the Opportunity:<ul><li>Schedule: 4-day work week<li>Hours: 10 hour shifts<li>Patient Volume: 20 to 30 per day</ul>Responsibilities: The Dermatologist will:<ul><li>Identify various dermatological conditions through clinical examination, patient history, and sometimes diagnostic tests like skin biopsies or patch testing<li>Provide both medical and procedural treatments for various skin issues<li>Perform regular skin cancer screenings, educate patients about risk factors, and offer surgical interventions, when necessary<li>Manage chronic skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea, providing ongoing care and treatment plans to help patients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life<li>Diagnose and treat various infectious skin diseases, including bacterial, viral, and fungal infections, as well as sexually transmitted infections affecting the skin<li>Help patients manage allergic reactions and sensitivities that manifest on the skin, often involving conditions like contact dermatitis and urticaria (hives)<li>Provide care to children with various skin conditions, including diaper rash, eczema, birthmarks, and genetic skin disorders<li>Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, preventive measures, and overall skin health<li>Perform other duties, as needed</ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York<li>Board Eligible / Certified in Dermatology</ul>Your privacy is important to us.
