Join our team in Morehead, KY, for an urgent need for a locum hospitalist. This position offers a great opportunity to work in an acute care hospital with a supportive environment.

**Job Description**

- Must be able to work the following dates: 8/26-9/2, 9/9-9/15, and 9/16-9/22, with a 7 on/7 off schedule thereafter.
- Orientation starts on 8/25.
- The position includes an hourly rate plus travel expenses.
- Patient volume averages 5-10 admissions per night, with a maximum of 15 admissions experienced only once.
- Hospitalists will handle admissions from the ER, with family medicine patients being turned over to family medicine services immediately.
- For codes, the closest hospitalist will respond until the ED doctor arrives.
- Surgical residents perform central line procedures; hospitalists are not required to do procedures.
