**Job Description**

- Call coverage needed, ongoing as soon as credentialed
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, some vacation weekday call coverage from 5 PM to 6 AM
- Hospital-based, 100% adult care
- 10-15 hospital-based patients on average per day
- 1-2 admissions, 8-10 ICU patients, 1-2 surgeries per day
- Level I trauma
- EMR: Epic
- 2 physicians in practice, 5 mid-levels
- Reason for coverage: change in staffing, looking to backfill
- Required to supervise and provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call
- No other thoracic surgeons will be present during locum call coverage

**Requirements**

- Board Certified in Cardiovascular Surgery (ABMS/AOA) - Required
- Active Colorado License or active IMLC - Required
- Active BLS, ACLS - Required
- Must note provider is able to perform all required procedures - Required
- Clean background/no malpractice - Required
