- Supervise and participate in providing care for residents in assisted living/memory care.
- Perform professional nursing services which include resident assessments, recording vital signs, administering medications/treatments, etc.
- Keep timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports.
- Make rounds on a regular basis assessing the health and mental status of each resident during the shift.
- Ensure that significant clinical developments of residents are reported to their physicians, the Medical Director, the Executive Director, and state (if necessary).
- Order all nursing supplies, office supplies, and equipment for assisted living/memory care.
- Participate in a new team member orientation program, including private duty and agency.
- Participate in the coordination of resident care services through departmental team member meetings.
- Serve "on-call" on weekends and after normal working hours.
- Accept "Manager on Duty" responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Participate in and attend all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
- Manage patients' electronic records and documents.
- Interact with doctors, patients, and family members.
- Implement and oversee infection control, pharmaceutical regimens, and nursing policies & procedures.
- Recruit and retain licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.
- Be a key contributor to the QAPI process.
- Manage and maintain census growth.

**Requirements**

- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification.
- Administrative and management experience required.
- Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
- Five years of assisted living healthcare experience desired.
- Remain in good standing with all standards of the Nurse Practice Act.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required**

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to use electronic records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
