Join our team as an Oncology Specialist at Mercy Joplin Cancer Center, which is home to the latest in cancer technology and treatments. This position offers a full-time schedule with a focus on providing exceptional care to hematology patients.

**Job Description**

- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinic hours + call
- Schedule: Full-time provider needed. Call coverage rotation can be scheduled pending the submission of multiple providers.
- Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Call: 24-hour on-call coverage on weekends
- Dates needing coverage:
  - August 1-5
  - August 29 - September 3
  - September 6-9
  - September 12-16
  - October 3-7
  - October 10-14
  - November 21-23 (Thanksgiving Week)
- Duties: Primarily care for hematology patients
- Procedures: Consults, follow-ups, possible bone marrow procedures
- Call type: Beeper with some consultation
- Call back: 1-4 consults per weekend
- Admissions: Patients admitted to hospitalist service
- Site location: Mercy Joplin Cancer Center
- Hospital and clinic: Clinic (hospital on-call only on weekends)
