**Locums Hospitalist**

DrWanted is currently seeking well-qualified physicians available to provide Locums Hospitalist coverage at a facility located a half hour from Indianapolis, IN. Initially a 3-month assignment, this job has a chance of being extended or going permanent.

**Job Description**

- Active IN License
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Must enroll in Indiana Patient Compensation Fund
- Seeking local providers
- Length of coverage needed: 3 months, ongoing
- Inpatient schedule shift 1: Mon. - Fri. 7A - 7P, and work as backup physician (on call)
- Inpatient schedule shift 2: Mon. - Fri. 7A - 3P
- 24-hr. call (remotely): Physician will take overflow patients; weekday census will be higher; weekend census will be lower, 4 - 7 patients
- Must round on critical care patients and medical-surgical; will do admissions from ER and round on admitted patients
- Average number of inpatients/day: 28
- Average number of inpatients/night: 9 - 14
- ACLS required
