**Job Description**

- The MRI Technologist is fully competent to perform all MRI routine procedures for the diagnostic treatment of specified diseases or conditions.

**Requirements**

- ARRT Registered or a Graduate from an Associate in Applied Science in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is required.
- AHA CPR provided by Cape Fear Valley Training and Development is required at orientation and must be maintained.
- Any applicant not registered as an ARRT in MRI must provide documentation of application with the ARRT to sit for the MRI registry.
- Registration in MRI with the ARRT is required within one (1) year of the hiring date. Failure to achieve registration post one (1) year will result in termination of employment.
- One to two years of experience preferred.
