**Job Description**

- Sole provider covering weekends
- Average 1 newborn delivery per day; ER call approximately 1 per weekend
- Maximum of 5 patients per day per physician, usually less than 3
- Support staff includes ER and OB physicians, staff RNs
- Non-invasive ventilation management for newborns
- Ventilation management for newborns and acute cases, with transfers following intubation
- EKG interpretation and exchange transfusion are required
- Suturing minor lacerations is expected, with ER handling more complex cases

**Hematology Oncology Provider**

Join our team as a Hematology Oncology Provider for a temporary position from February 13th to April 17th. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive outpatient clinic environment.

**Job Description**

- Provide care in Hematology and Oncology, focusing on outpatient services.
- Manage a patient load of 18 to 22 patients per shift.
- Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Utilize Athena for EMR/documentation.
- Collaborate with 2 RNs and 2 CMAs for patient support.
- Perform procedures related to the management of VAD/CV Catheters in the infusion clinic.
- Administer chemotherapy, including intrathecal and intracavitary treatments.

**Requirements**

- Board certification in Hematology Oncology is required.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
- Willingness to see all types of patients, including those with acute leukemia.

**Schedule**

- Outpatient only, with no inpatient responsibilities.
- New patient consults are scheduled for up to 2 to 4 per day, with established patient visits lasting 20 minutes.

**Additional Information**

- The provider will not be required to perform bone marrow transplants or biopsies.
- The hospitalist will admit new patients.
- The locum will not be responsible for ER calls but may be contacted for emergencies 1 to 2 times per week.
