**Job Description**

- CHI Saint Joseph's in Mount Sterling is looking for a locum OB/GYN to help fill their urgent March dates and ongoing needs as they arise.
- Dates of Coverage: 
  - March 9: 7a-6p - Prorated call
  - March 11: 7a-12 7a
  - March 12: 7a-5p - Prorated call
  - March 14: 7a-15 7a
  - March 16: 7a-17 7a
  - March 28 - April 1: 7a-7a
- Other dates available to give OB provider days off each month.
- Ongoing shifts needed and have yet to be requested.
- Admissions per day: Varies - average 18-20 deliveries per month.
- Types of cases: Triage of patients greater than 20 weeks gestation with OB complaint. Deliveries both vaginal and cesarean. GYN cases who present to the ED.
- Patients per day: Varies - average 45 triage patients per month.
- Setting: Small rural facility with level one nursery. Available rooms consist of 1 triage room, 2 labor rooms, 1 c-section suite, and 6 postpartum rooms.
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: Anesthesia Staff, Certified Nurse Midwife experience, labor and delivery staff nurses experience ranges from 5-27 years.
- Reason for coverage: Locum cancelled assignment/became unresponsive need to replace.

**Requirements**

- Must be able to demonstrate that he or she has performed at least 100 deliveries in the past 24 months and at least 50 major gynecological surgical procedures in the past 24 months.
