**Pediatric Endocrinologist**

Cumberland Hospital in New Kent, VA is recruiting a Board-Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our amazing team. The position is for PRN work, one day a week in person.

**Job Description**

- Provide weekly review and oversight of blood glucose management of patients with diabetes mellitus (types 1 and 2)
- Conduct initial consults on patients admitted with diagnoses such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, growth hormone deficiency, and other conditions including but not limited to Turner’s Syndrome, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, and inborn errors of metabolism
- Review blood glucoses and diabetes mellitus treatment plans of children ages 5 years to 18 years (ages accepted for admission are 2 years through 22 years)
- Collaborate with the primary medical team consisting of Board-Certified pediatricians and nurse practitioners
- Participate in the diabetes teaching curriculum to include patient education groups

Pediatric - Endocrinology Physician
