And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Make a Difference</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>The Certified Coder will be responsible for coding and abstracting for physician billing using software and coding books based on current work assignment.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Exceptional Skills and Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.&nbsp;</li><li>Two (2) years of coding experience preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in surgery coding preferred, including General Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery – Oncology, Orthopedics, Colon and Rectal, and Anesthesia.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Certified Professional Coding (CPC) certification through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) required.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>This position will allow the flexibility to work remotely after the initial training period with the expectation to work on-site on an as needed basis per the needs of the hiring department.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><strong>Why Community?</strong></div><div>At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication and collaboration.
