Locum Tenens Opportunity for a Physician Specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine Location: Near Cheyenne, WY Dates: ASAP - OngoingWe are seeking board-certified physicians to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to provide essential healthcare services to veterans while working on a PRN basis.As a physician working in this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting veterans by conducting non-treatment exams in a structured and rewarding environment. You'll have the flexibility to choose between two coverage options: traveling to perform exams at leased facilities or scheduling exams within your own practice. Job Details: <ul><li>Schedule: PRN basis with flexible shifts, either half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).</li><li>Exam Types:<ul><li>Non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams</li><li>Separation health assessments</li></ul></li><li>Exams include:<ul><li>Primarily interview-based assessments</li><li>Some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing</li><li>Evaluation of traumatic brain injuries</li></ul></li><li>No treatment or prescribing required.</li></ul> Certification and Requirements: <ul><li>Must be Board Certified in any of the following specialties:<ul><li>Neurology</li><li>Neurosurgery</li><li>Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)</li></ul></li><li>State license required in Wyoming.</li></ul> Additional Qualifications: <ul><li>Proficient in using a goniometer.</li><li>Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is essential.</li><li>Skilled in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.</li><li>Must own a personal laptop (no MACs).</li></ul> Benefits: <ul><li>Quick credentialing and onboarding.</li><li>DMA certification available (CME credits provided upon certification).</li><li>Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).</li></ul>This is an ongoing opportunity with flexible scheduling and the option to work in a location near you.
