Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

The University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) in Plattsburgh, New York seeks a BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to join its hospital-based practice. The CVPH Orthopedic team consists of 4 orthopedic surgeons and 5 Physician Assistants. This position roughly entails 50% clinical specialty, 25% general orthopedics and 25% trauma. The preference for the clinical specialty is hip/knee, hand and/or upper extremity. The incoming physician would provide coverage at CVPH as well as at its affiliate Alice Hyde Medical Center (AHMC) located one hour away in Malone, NY. The surgeon taking this position would have set block time per week with opportunities to expand OR time with patient growth. CVPH is a certified Level III trauma center that works closely with UVM Medical Center, a Level I trauma center 1 hour away, to provide orthopedic trauma support for northern NY.
