**Patient Services Associate (PSA) I**

The Patient Services Associate (PSA) I enhances the patient/customer experience by courteously and professionally processing arrival and departure activities associated with visits to the practice/department. Primarily working at the front desk of an outpatient practice, the PSA I verifies insurance, referrals, and patient demographic information. The PSA I supports delivery of the Jefferson Experience by placing emphasis on the prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors to maintain an efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.

**Job Description**

- Processes check-in and/or check-out, point of service activities and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
