- Two years of experience of full-time work in an American College of Surgeons accredited Level 1 Trauma Center, with two years of teaching and clinical emergency medicine experience post-residency, encompassing all aspects of academic emergency medicine, including the education of residents and interns. The physician must have proven academic potential as demonstrated by teaching publications and specialty society membership.
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine from the ABEM or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Physicians.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
