- Average 1 newborn delivery per day; ER call approximately 1 per weekend
- Maximum of 5 patients per day per physician, usually less than 3
- Support staff includes ER and OB physicians, staff RNs
- Non-invasive ventilation management for newborns
- Ventilation management for newborns and acute cases, with transfers following intubation
- EKG interpretation and exchange transfusion are required
- Suturing minor lacerations is expected, with ER handling more complex cases

**Requirements**

- Board certification required or preferred
- Certifications required: PALS, NRP
- Willing to consider non-licensed or IMLC providers

**Procedures**

- Intubation (ETT/NT) for newborns and pediatrics for rescue and transport
- UVC and UAC placements are required
- No conscious or deep sedation procedures
