- Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnose the condition of patients
- Administer or prescribe treatments and medications
- Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of diseases
- Determine need for modified diet and physical activities, and recommend a plan
- Inoculate and vaccinate patients to immunize them from communicable diseases
- Perform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency
- Refer patients to other medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for patients' well-being
- Oversee, review, supervise, and act in a preceptor role to family practice residents
- Perform other duties as needed

**Requirements**

- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
- Board Eligible/Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine
