**Medical Technologist (Part-Time, Night Shift)**

Join our team as a Medical Technologist in a part-time night shift position. This role is essential in performing phlebotomy and laboratory testing, ensuring accurate and rapid reporting of results.

**Job Description**

- Perform all clinical testing in the assigned department.
- Record and report test results accurately and promptly.
- Perform and interpret quality control testing following established guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of quality assurance.
- Practice established safety procedures, including Universal Precautions and proper use of safety equipment.
- Recognize problems by following prescribed strategies and make necessary corrections.
- Consult with supervisor/manager when no present criteria for decisions are available; act to determine final decision in their absence.
- Coordinate and evaluate new reagents, procedures, and equipment as requested by supervisor/manager.
- Perform routine scheduled and specialized maintenance of laboratory equipment.

**Requirements**

- Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
- Licensure/Certification: Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent; eligible for certification. Must maintain active certification if applicable.
