**Radiologic Technologist Level 1**

Operates and maintains equipment and takes radiographs of various portions of the body to assist radiologists in the detection of foreign bodies and diagnosis of disease and injuries. Positions patients under the machine and regulates controls. May perform x-ray examinations under sterile, surgical conditions. May also process exposed film by automatic developer or hand tank solution.

A Level 1 Radiologic Technologist provides healthcare customer services to patients, families, and guests of all ages. A radiologic technologist performs radiographic procedures and related techniques producing diagnostic imaging information for the interpretation by and at the request of a licensed practitioner. The Radiologic Technologist Level 1 exercises professional judgment in the performance of services while maintaining a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Level 1 technologists are required to control and maintain a safe examination and working environment. A radiologic technologist must be licensed by the State of Arkansas, and the ARRT registry is preferred.

**Job Description**

- Utilizes technique charts for technique formulation.
- Adds pertinent information to requisition concerning radiation safety, clinical information, procedural notes.
- Correctly completes procedure information in Meditech on all patients, including NP charges.
- Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient, including pediatrics, geriatric, and general population.
- Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure.
- Selects and operates radiography equipment, imaging, and/or associated accessories successfully.
- Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest.

**Qualifications**

**Education**

- Completion of a recognized program of Radiological Science and Technology.

Seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN Physician to join our team in beautiful Mountain Home, AR.

**Job Description**

- Brand new clinic located right down the road from the hospital
- Onsite: 3 ultrasound machines, NST, and colposcope
