**Assistant Professor - Community and Trauma Counseling**

The Community and Trauma Counseling Program in the Department of Counseling and Behavioral Health seeks new faculty members at the Full Time Assistant Professor Level, to support the CACREP-accredited counseling program at Thomas Jefferson University.

**Job Description**

- Teach six to eight courses annually in the graduate and/or undergraduate program(s).
- Engage in course and program development, grant writing, student recruitment, student advising, clinical site coordination, and completing outcome measurements for graduate students as per the standards set forth by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

**Requirements**

- Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited program.
- A professional license is required; LPC is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in trauma-informed and related mental health service delivery.
- Sound teaching experience with proficiency in online teaching, graduate education, and interprofessional training preferred.
- Experience with course and curriculum development and grant writing.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency with computers and education-related technology.
