AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dynamic and quality-focused physician leader to join our esteemed team of hospitalists at our highly rated, 164-bed hospital in DeLand, FL.We are looking for a physician leader with a collaborative leadership style who will model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and professionalism while upholding AdventHealth's Mission, Vision, and Values. Team Composition:<ul><li>10-day physicians</li><li> 2 nocturnists</li><li> 2 APPs</li></ul> Schedule:<ul><li>7 on / 7 off schedule</li><li> Day shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM</li><li> Night shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM</li><li>Assistant Medical Director: 7 on / 7 off Day (182 shifts per year) with both clinical and administrative duties and protected time for administrative responsibilities</li></ul> Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist the Medical Director with oversight of quality improvement projects to ensure compliance with hospital quality of care and safety programs</li><li> Develop program goals and conduct ongoing individual assessments of providers</li><li> Orient and coach new hospitalists in the program</li><li> Collaborate with medical group and hospital leadership to enhance operational efficiencies and manage budget costs</li><li> Promote and attend meetings, and assist in the development of educational programs related to hospitalist providers</li><li> Coordinate the hospitalist schedule (via AMION) to ensure program efficiency and productivity while maintaining safe and quality patient care</li><li> Address and resolve patient or physician grievances, care opportunities, complaints, and/or questions related to the AHMG Hospitalist program</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Board Certification / Eligibility through ABIM or ABMS</li><li> Team player with a patient-first mindset</li><li> Excellent communication skills</li><li> Eligible for active Florida license</li><li> Ability to collaborate closely with consultants and support staff</li></ul> Practice Overview: The practice is part of AdventHealth Medical Group, which includes over 80 providers in the hospitalist team.
