- Responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered lifestyle.

- Help identify problems and potential risks and contribute to corrective action plans; notify proper personnel of real or potential problems with patient issues and quality and/or appropriateness of care.
- May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.
- Provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff; assess the risks for safety and implement appropriate precautions; comply with appropriate and approved safety and infection prevention standards.
- Maintain regular attendance in keeping with assigned work schedule.

**Requirements**

- Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
- One (1) year recent experience preferred; acute care setting preferred.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
- Current CPR Certification required.
- CRRN certification preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred in Texas hospitals; required if in Charge Nurse role.
