This position offers the opportunity to work in various clinical locations, including the Cath Lab, Cardiac MRI, IR, CT, and procedures in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Prep and Recovery Unit.

**Job Description**

- Clinical locations covered: Cath Lab, Cardiac MRI, IR, CT, and procedures in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Prep and Recovery Unit
- Number of cases per day varies based on clinical location assignment. It could be as little as one case per day in the Cath Lab, or up to 5 MRIs in a day
- The CRNAs work 10 hour (7a-5p) and 12 hour (7a-7p) shifts. Our biggest need currently is for 10 hour shifts
- No call coverage
- A Nurse Practitioner assigned to the team completes patient pre-ops
- Must have experience using EPIC
- Experience with pediatric cardiac patients strongly preferred
- Experience working in a complex, academic medical center strongly preferred
- At least 3 years of experience practicing as a CRNA strongly preferred

Monitors and records the patient's vital signs, records all medication administered to the patient and related reaction and responses. **Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)**

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) delivers procedural anesthesia care as part of a team under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. As part of this team, the CRNA is expected to engage in accurate, ongoing patient assessments, communicate with members of the healthcare team, use resources efficiently to deliver optimal care, and document care thoroughly in the appropriate records. The CRNA administers general, regional anesthetics, or Monitored Anesthesia Care during surgical and/or obstetrical procedures under the medical direction of an attending anesthesiologist.

- This client can accommodate all needs and desires depending on the CRNA, from flexible, non-trauma cases to very extreme life-threatening needs.
- A mix of supervisory roles from anesthesiologists and opportunities for CRNAs to manage their own cases.
