**Coverage Needs**

- MD to CRNA coverage ratio: 1/3 or 1/4
- Cases are based on competency, including spinal, epidural, and occasional regional blocks. No cardiac surgery for CRNAs as there is a designated cardiac team on staff.
- Specialties performed: ENDO, ORTHO, Vascular, OB, Neuro, General Surgery, Spine
- Does not perform transplant cases
- Level 3 trauma cases

**Rotation and Coverage**

- Main OR and surgery centers based on assignment
- Surgery centers perform sports medicine, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology

**Anesthesia Model**

- Care team approach

**Requirements**

- Active Connecticut state license
- Board Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Electronic Medical Records (EMR)**

- Epic

**Privileging Process**

- 45-60 days
