- Provide surgical assistance for orthopedics, including closing and rounding on post-operative patients as needed.
- Assist with other specialties if there are no orthopedic cases.
- Mainly assist with elective cases, but may include add-on cases from the emergency department.
- Follow up on patients, with the physician responsible for assessing patients and signing off on documentation.
