S/he will review quality measures and patient satisfaction surveys and implement necessary improvement plans to reach required thresholds. S/he will perform other duties as assigned. **Job Description**

Under the direction of the Medical Director, the physician will perform medical services. The Primary Health Care Physician will examine, perform diagnosis, and treat patients who come to the clinic for acute medical care. Determines the necessity for referral and refers persons requiring special diagnostic procedures and treatments to appropriate sources; discusses findings with external providers; supervises the work of physician assistants and nurse practitioners assigned. Participates in developing the call schedule and provides coverage every four (4) to six (6) weeks. Maintains EHR patient records.

Diagnoses and treats common health problems; advises and counsels patients on developmental and maturational issues. Identifies, intervenes, and provides information for the patient, enabling the patient to make informed decisions and incorporates measures to improve health status.
