The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.The Non-Operative Orthopedic Provider specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. This role emphasizes non-surgical interventions and holistic patient care, bridging the gap between primary care and surgical intervention.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Evaluation:<ul><li>Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from acute injuries to chronic disorders</li><li>Conduct thorough patient examinations, including interpreting diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans </li></ul>Treatment: <ul><li>Recommend and administer non-surgical treatments including, but not limited to, physical therapy referrals, bracing, joint injections under ultrasound guidance, administration of cutting edge orthobiologic treatments (stem cells, PRP)</li><li>Provide pain management advice and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed</li></ul>Patient Education: <ul><li>Educate patients on their conditions, outlining both surgical and non-surgical treatment options</li><li>Advise on injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and exercises to improve mobility and strength</li></ul>Consultation and Referral: <ul><li>Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to identify cases that might require surgical intervention</li><li>Refer patients to other medical specialists when their conditions demand treatments outside the realm of orthopedics.
