Summary: The Advanced Program Manager (APM) reports to the Director of the Center for Professional Practice Innovation and Nursing Research (CPPI). The Advanced Practice Manager (APM) role which is part of the CPPI department anchors nursing practice to evidenced-based information and nurse-sensitive outcomes. Advanced Practice Managers aim to plan design and implement patient-specific and population-based programs of care. The APM contributes to clinical excellence in patient care through consulting research teaching and leadership in the organization. The role of the Advanced Practice Manager is guided by American Nurses Association Nursing Administration and Professional Development Scope and Standards. Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the APM role include: Engagement in initiatives that are driven by and related to nurse and/or patient outcomes: This may include collection and synthesis of key data needed to drive evidence-based initiatives and develop effective action plans to correct nursing practice gaps.
