TeamHealth is hiring for a nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to do primary care rounding in skilled nursing facilities in the Colville, Washington, area. This job has the flexibility to work 1 to 2 days a week (days are negotiable) and the ability to set your own daily hours. As an advanced practice provider in the skilled nursing facility setting, you will experience:

**Key Responsibilities**

- Perform primary care in a post-acute setting for short-term and long-term patients
- Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
- Order and interpret lab results
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
- Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
- Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
- Promote healthy lifestyle changes

**Requirements**

- New grads are encouraged to apply
- Experience as a nurse practitioner in a primary care setting is a plus but not required
- Post-acute care experience is a plus but not required
- Active and unrestricted Washington NP or PA license required or application in progress
- Active and unrestricted Washington DEA required or application in progress

**Compensation and Benefits**

Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential. Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $50,000 annually to $60,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential. This full-time role is not benefit eligible.
