**Job Description**

- Provide care to pre and post cardiac surgery patients, including bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac-based procedures and treatments such as ablations, left atrial appendages, ICDs, and permanent pacemakers.
- Deliver a high level of care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and chest pain.
- Manage 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level.
- Assess and admit patients, perform rounding checks, administer medications, communicate with family members, and be responsible for the overall care of your patients.
- Collaborate with a team committed to providing training, development, and growth opportunities.

**Requirements**

- Diploma RN, associate degree RN, bachelor's degree RN, or master's degree RN.
- All Direct Care RNs are required to have BLS within 90 days of hire and ACLS within 1 year.
- RN License Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
- BSN or MSN preferred. New Hire Education Requirement: All new RNs who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to enrollment in an accredited RN to BSN program within 24 months of hire and successfully obtaining their BSN within 5 years of hire.
