**Job Description:**

- Inpatient psychiatry coverage in an acute psychiatric unit
- Scheduled clinical hours with call
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
- Pre-scheduled night & weekend call, 4 PM - 8 AM
- Weekend call is on-site, both Saturday & Sunday
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Rounding on assigned patients
- Patient load: up to 14 per weekday; up to 17 per weekend day
- Admissions: 2-3 per shift
- Locums will handle psychiatric admissions; hospitalist will complete medical H&P
- 67-bed department

**Support Staff:**

- RNs, CSTs, Social Worker, Hospitalist, Activity Therapist, Lab, Radiology
- Multi-specialty support
