Physical Therapists provide services to develop, enhance or restore functional capacity of clients whose abilities to cope with the tasks of daily living are threatened or impaired by physical illness or injury, psychosocial disabilities, aging process or by developmental deficits. Physical Therapists at NAPA Center provide skillful intervention to infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents with disorders that affect development of motor and behavioral skills within the professional scope of practice. **Job Description:**

- Manage, supervise, and coordinate daily operations of a specified patient care department, providing clinical and administrative leadership.
- Contribute to strategic planning and attainment of departmental and organizational goals.
- Oversee a unit with 33 patient beds, including patients with strokes, spinal cord injuries, LVADs, traumatic brain injuries, and burn victims.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

- **Leadership:** Implement mission, vision, philosophy, core values, and standards. Demonstrate professional behavior and serve as a change agent. Conduct monthly unit conferences and complete annual performance appraisals.
- **Quality and Patient Safety:** Deliver patient care in accordance with professional standards and evidence-based practices. Monitor departmental performance and develop action plans for unmet goals. Participate in Joint Commission mock tracers.
