- Observe, record, and report patients' condition and reaction to drugs or treatments to providers.
- Oversee appointment bookings and ensure preferences are given to patients in emergency situations. Maintain timely flow of patients.
- Greet patients and obtain well-documented history and vitals. Prepare patients for physical exams. Instruct patients in the collection of samples and tests.
- Perform various tasks in accordance with established procedures and applicable licensure/certification, including but not limited to: obtaining/recording vital signs, performing initial assessments, coordinating patient transfers, administering medications, and providing wound care.
- Perform additional tasks upon completion of appropriate training, such as blood collection, administering injections, and operating medical equipment.
- Make arrangements for patient testing and admissions.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls and manage prescription refills and orders per provider instructions.
- Instruct patients and/or family regarding medication and treatment, and document accordingly.
- Formulate and update patient care plans. Prepare and inspect patient charts, and post test and examination results.
- Maintain patient files, records, and other information professionally, following documentation policies and procedures.

**Requirements:**

- CERT
- LVN License in the state of employment or compact
- BLS
