- Monitor compliance and effects of care management with high-risk patients
- Perform general office duties as required

**Responsibilities:**

- Triages all calls, schedules urgent/emergent add-ons, and manages test results
- Greets patients/families and performs routine pre-examination procedures
- Assists provider with examinations and procedures
- Prepares and cleans patient areas and sets up equipment
- Provides patient care measures including injections, dressing changes, and blood specimen collection
- May assist with procedures such as EKG, PFT, ABI, and NST
- Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and co-workers
- May be required to travel to satellite clinics
- Understands necessary computer functions in the office setting

**Certifications and Licensures:**

- BLS - Basic Life Support required within 3 months of hire
- MA CERT - Medical Assistant required
- Must possess one of the following certifications/licensures: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent Medical Assistant credential

**Required Education:**

- High School Diploma or GED

**Experience, Training, and Skills:**

- Excellent interpersonal skills for successful communication
- Mandatory OSHA training must be completed annually
- Knowledge of medical office policies, practices, and procedures
- Previous experience in a physician clinic setting preferred

**Physical/Mental Requirements and Typical Working Conditions:**

- Exposure to stressful situations, including trauma, grief, and death
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
- Must be able to move freely and perform job functions
- Overall vision and hearing necessary
- Frequently required to sit/stand/walk for long periods
- Some exposure to blood-borne pathogens and infectious material
- Physical Demand Level: Light. Must occasionally lift or carry 11-20 lbs.
