The Director/ manager has empowered this role with the authority and autonomy necessary to ensure the appropriate clinical and customer satisfaction outcomes as well as efficient and effective team processes.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Exceptional Skills and Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.</div><ul><li>2 year / Associate Degree of Science Degree from an accredited college or university in Respiratory Care or its equivalent (Required)&nbsp;</li><li>In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.&nbsp;</li><li>Certifications/Licensures: (Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA))&nbsp;<strong>(Required)</strong></li><li>2+ years: Experience in General and Critical Respiratory Care&nbsp;<strong>(Required)</strong></li><li>Proficient in Respiratory Care standards and performs duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.</li><li>Coordinates shift staffing and makes assignments based on acuity and skill.</li><li>Assists with orientation of new employees and students.</li><li>Updates and develops Respiratory Care policies and procedures.</li><li>Monitors staffing levels every four hours.</li><li>Provides input for staff performance evaluations and assists with financial operations.</li><li>Takes patient assignments and participates in regulatory data monitoring.</li><li>Supports staff in problem-solving and ensures proper documentation.</li><li>Ensures handoff reports are completed per protocol.</li><li>Investigates and follows up on incident reports and quality issues.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Why Community?</strong></div><div>At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication and collaboration.
