Inpatient Gastroenterologist Locum

A well-established health system in Des Moines, Iowa is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Gastroenterologist for a locum-to-perm inpatient position. This role includes comprehensive GI coverage with ERCP required and EUS highly preferred, all within a 24-hour call model.

Job Description

• Perform 3-4 outpatient procedures per day
• Manage inpatient consults and GI procedures
• Provide ERCP services (Required)
• Perform EUS procedures (Highly Preferred)
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)
• Active Iowa License or IMLC (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• COVID Vaccination (Required)
• Clean malpractice and background (Preferred)
• Comfortable with inpatient hospital-based work (Required)

Compensation & Benefits

• 24-Hour On Call Rate: $3,519.00/Call-back $508/hr
• Travel & Lodging: Covered
