Family Health Centers is seeking to hire a part time or full time Developmental-Behavioral pediatrician to join our team at our Diamond Neighborhoods clinic in San Diego. <ul><li> Additional subspecialty training BE/BC in developmental-behavioral pediatrics required for this position. </li></ul> Job Roles <ul><li> Performs initial assessments for assigned patients with developmental and behavioral difficulties </li><li> Administers autism diagnostic testing such as Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) test or other tools as appropriate. **Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician**

Family Health Centers is seeking to hire a part-time or full-time Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join our team at our Diamond Neighborhoods clinic in San Diego.

**Job Description**

- Performs initial assessments for assigned patients with developmental and behavioral difficulties.
- Administers autism diagnostic testing such as Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) test or other tools as appropriate. This includes an intake for compiling all pertinent history, observation, behavioral assessment, completing a report, and a follow-up visit for sharing findings with the family.
- May conduct other age-appropriate testing based on the child's identified needs.
- Participates in the development of patients' individualized care plans in a timely and thorough manner.
- Makes treatment recommendations based on interpretation of assessment findings. Is knowledgeable about both internal and external resources the family may need.
- Works effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Communicates with providers, other physicians, case managers, scheduling staff, referring providers, and outside agencies and authorities in a timely and appropriate manner when needed.
